Living Our Purpose: Midrex Volunteers Lend a Hand at Habitat ReStore

As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to our community, six dedicated Midrex team members spent Friday, August 23rd, volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity Habitat ReStore in Charlotte, NC. The group put in a few hours of hard work, assisting the store with various tasks. From organizing inventory in the showroom to moving materials from the warehouse, loading and unloading vehicles, and sorting through donated items, the team contributed their time and energy to ensure the store was in better shape by the end of the day.
For those unfamiliar with Habitat ReStore, it’s a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, and building materials to the public at a fraction of retail prices. All proceeds go to support Habitat for Humanity, an organization that helps build and improve homes for those in need. Volunteering at the ReStore helps keep the operation running smoothly, ensuring the store can continue supporting Habitat’s larger mission of providing affordable housing.
At Midrex, we believe in giving back, and initiatives like this are a perfect example of how our team members come together to make a difference. Whether it’s through lending a helping hand or sharing expertise, we’re proud to support organizations that strengthen our community.
